Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

 The Dental Board has announced that restrictions will be reduced to Level 1 on the provision of dental services.

 All dental treatments can resume as per normal effective immediately.

 Please be patient with us as we look to accommodate everyone. Due to a number of high priority treatments we are recommending that routine cleans and minor procedures be deferred where possible.  We are also recommending that those over the age of 70 and/or medically compromised patients consider deferring treatment where possible.

 Additional precautions will continue including prescreening questions.

The supportive team at Element Dental are trained in the management of infectious diseases. At this time we are taking additional measures to ensure peace of mind for you and your family.

Some of our additional safety measures include:

  • A pre-screening questionnaire.
  • Hand sanitisation and touchless temperature checks on arrival.
  • Pre-treatment Peroxyl mouthrinses.

  • Removal of reading material.
  • Immediate cleaning of all contact surfaces including chairs, door handles, reception desk, and Hicaps terminal.

Pre-screening includes determining if individuals have:

  • Flu-like symptoms such as cough, sore throat, or fever.
  • Returned from travel overseas or interstate within the last 14 days.
  • Been in contact with a confirmed or suspected person(s) with Covid-19.
  • Visited or live in a high-risk area with a concentration of cases.
